Children’s Church

Thank you for all your support and prayers for our children’s worship. Jennifer Rocheskey, Christina Holon, and many other volunteers have been working very hard to provide meaningful Christian education and fellowship for our children. The transition of the space in Mott Hall has given us the opportunity to utilize all that open space for our worship. As a church, we continue to be growing and transitioning.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14Christ is just like the human body—a body is a unit and has many parts; and all the parts of the body are one body, even though there are many.  We were all baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jew or Greek, or slave or free, and we all were given one Spirit to drink. Certainly the body isn’t one part but many. “

This scripture calls us, as parts of the Spirit of Christ, to utilize the many talents and spiritual gifts we have and the ones we have yet to discover. Each one of us possesses a vital part of the spirit that is key to allowing the body to function for the glory of God. As we continue our  vision of growth, expansion, and discipleship I want to invite you to think about ways you can contribute a part/parts of yourself to the body of Christ. There are many opportunities to serve the youngest of God’s children. An example of these opportunities to serve are volunteering in the nursery, preaching the message, music time, snack time, and craft time. New ideas are always welcome. If you are exploring the idea of volunteering or have questions about how you can make a difference in our children’s ministry please let us know by calling the Church Office 609-296-9610.

Childrens Church continues on the 1st & 3rd Sundays in July and August.  Calling all children in grades up to 6th.  Come to church with your family and friends on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and under the leadership of Jen Rocheskey and Tina Holon, enjoy your very own worship and fellowship time, learn songs, do crafts and share a snack.

Mark your calendars:  September 11th is Rally Day and  Children’s Church will resume meeting weekly.
